TDOV Celebration
Join us as we celebrate our 5th year of Visibility, while celebrating the amazing Community that we are!
In 2022, Margie's Hope led in a groundbreaking event, that brought the Transgender+ community along with Allies together to celebrate the beauty of Transgender Visibility.
Known as the Margie's Hope's TDOV Celebration, taking place in both Akron, Ohio and in Cleveland, Ohio as the first in-person gatherings in Ohio, celebrating the already National and Internationally recognized Transgender day of Visibility, highlighting the best parts of our community...The Community itself.
On our 5th anniversary we once again gather with community, for fun, community support and recognition. We have partnered with some of the most boots on the ground organizations that often take the lead on shoring up Visibility through thier works!
Our theme for 2026 is "Trans Safe Space". We pay homage to the Stonewall group of 1969, that fought for thier right to saftey, gender expressions, and freedom.
Margie's Kids
Margie's Kids is a space for trans and non-binary youth to connect, play, and grow. We’re building a community of friendship that empowers our youth to navigate the world with confidence and pride.
While the kids connect, parents can find their own community at the same time and location through Margie’s Pride.
Margie's Pride
Margie’s Pride is a support group for parents, grandparents, or any parental figure of a transgender, non-binary, or gender expansive person of any age. It is a community that comes together to share and talk about their child in a safe, judgement-free zone.
TransAlive Akron Support Group - December
TransAlive is a peer-led support group for transgender, non-binary, and gender-expansive adults. We provide a safe, community-driven space to share stories, offer guidance, and build lasting friendships. Whether you're looking for resources or just a place to be yourself, you belong here.
